  • Bi-monthly Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Collaboration Calls

    Bi-monthly Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Collaboration Calls have been scheduled to support the efforts of MHA-member organizations.  The first call will take place Oct. 9 from 1 -2 p.m., and feature Margaret Arnold, chief executive officer, Early Mobility.  The call will focus on the strategic selection and appropriate usage of patient mobilization equipment.  Future calls are scheduled for:
     December 4, 2019
     February 12, 2020
     April 8, 2020
     June 10, 2020
     August 12, 2020

    If you are interested in participating in the data entry of OSHA recordables please contact keystonedata@mha.org to get access to the Keystone Data System and the Workplace Safety data.  You can view the data measure definitions that are collected in the Data Definitions document.  Data collected includes OSHA Recordable Incident rate, Lost Time Case rate (LTC) and the Days Away/Restricted or Job Transfer rate (DART).
