  • Michigan Practitioner Diversion Awareness Training - Nov 9

    The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be hosting a one-day Michigan Practitioner Diversion Awareness Training (MIPDAT) on November 9, 2018 from 8:30am-5:00pm.  The conference will be held at Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium at Wayne State University, 471 W Palmer Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48202.

    The conference will also be live-streamed.

    NOTE:  You must be a DEA-registered doctor, dentist, physician assistant, and/or nurse practitioner to attend this conference. There is no registration fee for this conference.

    CME/CE NOTES:

    This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Federation of State Medical Boards and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. The Federation of State Medical Boards is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Federation of State Medical Boards designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Non-physician attendees (nurse practitioners, dentists, physician assistants) will receive a certificate of participation stating that they participated in an activity that was designated for 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Attendees will then be able to submit their certificates to their licensing boards and respective accrediting organizations as proof of completion or attendance. Certificates of participation will be emailed; please register for the conference with your preferred email address.
